Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Right Breast
Tonight I found a golf ball sized firm swelling in my right breast. No discoloration present and not painful. Tender on deep palpation. Sudden onset. Possible obstructed lacteals gland? Have hot packed for 30 minutes. Level of concern and urgency? Other possible common rule outs?

Hello,
Most probably it will be an abscess which is nothing but a collection of pus. Consult a general surgeon and plan for an ultrasound.
Once the diagnosis of the abscess has confirmed, the treatment is drainage of pus under local anesthesia. An antibiotic cover is also required.
