Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Tonsil

Hello! My left tonil seems to hurt when I swallow ... I thought it could be some germ I picked up near certain people that get colds, sinusitis or similar nasal type conditions .. I have had something like this before and it appears to be viral-like? I am 63, have regular check-ups, take some mild hyper-tension meds and lab work has been very good .... Thank You.

Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. I have seen hundreds of patients with similar complaints. Please find my advice below-
1)Do saltwater gargle 3 times a day
2)use a cool air humidifier for the room
3)avoid cigarette smoke
4)take combiflam if you have pain and fever
5)Take pancef oral 200 mg twice a day for 7 days
6)add lactobacillus caps 3 times a day up to 7 days
