Suggest Treatment For Swelling On Ankles And Leg

Hi my rt foot, ankle and bottom of my leg is swollen. I went to a Dr and was told it is from an insect bite and gave me antibiotics (Bactrim DS every 12 hours). My blood work CBC/Diff: WBC/11.7 RBC/3.23 Hgb/11.6 Hct/34.3 MCV/106 MCH/35.10 MCHC/33.8 Plat/274 Seg/58.2 Lymph/33.9 Mono/4.5 Eos/2.6 Baso/0.8 BMP: Not Fasting. Na/140 K/4.0 CI/103 iCa/1.14 C02/23 Glu/88 BUN/8 Creat/1.3 The Comments said CBC results verified by repeat testing. The Dr stated I should feel a difference in 24-48 hours of being on the medication also that the swollen areas would go down. Unfortunately the swollen is worse. I am very concerned about this. It started hurting 3 days ago, however it began to swell not long after my husband died on May 18th. Could you please tell me based on the above blood work results do I have reason for concern or am I over reacting?
