Suggest Treatment For Swollen Abdomen And Vagina

I ve had 3 UTI in 2 months. Went to urologist & she did scope this past Monday. I m not emptying my bladder, she could barely get the scope into my urethia because of swelling. She said lining in uterus was thickening and wanted me to use Estace cream. Which I did M,W & F. My entire stomach is now swollen & very uncomfortable. My vaginal area is also very swollen. I feel lots of pressure & this evening it feels like the pressure is moving up towards my chest. I now feel like I might vomit.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You have a history of UTI for about 2 months. Since your vagina is swollen & have stomach discomforts; you should take medical aid at the earliest. You need intravenous fluids & antibiotics to control the infection.

This is not the time to stay at home. Visit ER, get STD tests done, to rule out STI & get treated. You may need antibiotics & antivirals.

In the meantime, you can take antacids & PPI's Pantoprazole to feel better. Stay away from addictions if any.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
