Suggest Treatment For Swollen Adenoids

My child is 7 years old. she had tonsilloadenoidectomy done two years back. Now, night snoring and breathing difficulty recurred and on x-ray she was found to have swollen adenoids. Again doctor is suggesting for adenoid surgery. Any alternative for surgery? Please help

Hello,
It is better to get the surgery done if the child has symptoms.
There are nasal sprays available in the market which have proved to decrease the size of the adenoids. The nasal spray is mometasone spray to be used once in a day.
You should consult your doctor for the method how to use it and the dosage for the spray .
