Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Bleeding Tonsils
Hello, I am 25, 5 7, and weigh 160 lbs. My right tonsil was quite swollen and it was hurting quite a bit. After it it kept swelling up a white liquidy substance started gushing out mixed with blood. The swelling has gone down but the tonsil itself still keeps bleeding a little bit. Obviously I must go to the ER or doctor, once again so they can give me another wrong diagnosis but I was wondering if you know what I have or how I can treat it?
It may be due to follicular tonsilitis. The follicular crypts if infected they may discharge pus and blood. Use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Use tablet. amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625mg for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
