Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Bruised Foot After Injury

I opened a heavy door on my foot 3 days ago, it is swollen and now it hurts so much to step on it.when I try to rub it , it feels like I have a splinter. Should I go have it checked? The top of my foot has a light bruise where I hit it. My email address is YYYY@YYYY .

Hi,

Based on the history you seem to have developed cellulitis or abscess on your foot. I advise you to consult a surgeon for proper evaluation and treatment which may involve a course of suitable antibiotics along with ant-inflammatory drugs.
