Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Bruised Knee After Injury

Hi I have the biggest pain on my knee cap I fell down the stairs and hit my knee and bruised it badly it was bruised for 4 days and my whole right leg has been swollen for three or four weeks and my knee is killing me what do you think I damaged or sprained ? I need help I can't exercise or stand long anymore
