Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Ankle

Hello, I did yard work and we live on a preserve. I pulled ferns up and got bit and today itchy and swollen. Walking is uncomfortable due to pressure and swollen ankle. Where the bites are its very hard and skin is red and white circle where the bite occurred.

* Sounds to be cellulitis changes related to yard work and biting episode. Following measures will help you for sure to get better recovery

- local application of ice

- foot elevation over 3-4 pillows support
- avoidance of weight-bearing, tight shoes
- analgesic as ibuprofen with paracetamol for pain relief
- spray of Linseed oil, methylsalicylate over the ankle
* Follow up after 2 days about the progress of the swelling , symptoms and further guidelines.
