Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Ankle?

My right ankle is swollen, it hurts to walk on it or put pressure on it. To walk on it, I have to walk on the outside of my foot. if I move suddenly, the pain is real quick. The last time I had this, my dr sent me for 2 blood tests and xrays and they found nothing. this was about 2 years ago. I almost wanna say it feels like a pinched nerve in my foot but I have no idea.
