I have had 3 rounds of antibiotics , steroids. my eyes are swollen and without the antibiotics, does not go away. now I have developed a rash under my arms, very itchy and burning. saw a dr today and he was stumped. any suggestions.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to health care magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having discharge and crusting of the eyes.
Since the WBC count is also increased these symptoms indicate infection of the eye in the form of conjunctivitis.
The antibiotics need to be used depending on the culture and sensitivity report as it appears like the antibiotics are not acting.
The other conditions that need to be considered are chronic dacryocystitis.

Hence you need to consult your ophthalmologist for evaluation and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Thank you
