Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Face

yes my mothers face became swolen on the left side under her eye yesterday and she doesn't know what could have caused it.She had shrimp the day before,but doesn't believe it is an allergic reaction because she has had seafood before and this hasn't happened.what may have caused it and what can she do about it?
