Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Knee

I slipped in my kitchen last night, I had been outside in the snow, I fell on my Knee very hard, it was very painful and i felt nauseaus for a few min, it had a small knot with red spot shortly after the incident then two hours later

it was burning and I could not bend leg without discomfort. within two hours it had a knot the size of an orange and

was very hard, do i need to have checked.
