Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Leg Afer A Dog Bite
i was bitten by my dog a little over a week ago. i did go to er because of the instant swelling. It is now the size of a soft ball on my upper leg and is growing more and more painful and is getting very tight and hard. If i walk very far it swells more and causes more . i do not have insurance and do not know ho w much medical attention should be sought after

For swollen and painfull leg after dog bite a week ago If i have to treat such a patient i will advice ,. You must have inj. Tetnus toxoid im, inj anti rabies im, on 0, 3, 7, 14, 28 days to follow, and inj HRIG ( it is immunoglobulin to give immediately protection). For wound clean it should be cleaned with betadine and dressed with fusidic cream, tab augmentum 625 twice a day , tab bruffen with peracetamol, tab metronidazole 400three times a day sporlac sachetd three times aday ,keep your lrg raised
