I met with my new dentist yesterday. he did a very thorough exam - checked my mouth, tongue, neck for signs of cancer as well as checking all my teeth. he noticed my right tonsil was double the size of the other one. he felt my neck, and it was fine. he asked if i have a cold or sore throat and i said no. i feel fine. my last cold was in october 2014 i believe. i rarely get sore throats during a cold - if i do, they generally last a day, maybe two. of course when i got home i googled it, and nothing but cancer popps up. can it be anything else other than cancer? very nervous. i have 2 young babies and an amazing husband, so the thought of cancer makes me sick to my stomach. i made an appointment with my family doctor - dentist suggested it - but i can t see her for 2 weeks (she is on vacation... again!) help!
