General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi! Welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, it's good that fracture have been ruled out and soft tissue trauma is most likely the case and will resolve spontaneously within four to six weeks but backslab should be supported with bed rest and keep leg raised and avoid keeping it lower than the body for long else swelling will recur. Meanwhile using OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen alongwith topical capciasin gels may be helpful. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Regards
