Suggest Treatment For Swollen Ankles And Pain In Knee Joints
Hi, My left ankle is swollen and I have pain in my ankles and knee joints. The swelling decreases when I get some rest. I recently started exercising and after this I am facing this. I had a biopsy three months ago following a diagnosis of lymphedonpathy.
It is possible that the condition is related to your increased physical activity. There may be inflammation and injury of the bones and soft tissue (ligaments, muscles and other soft tissue).
You need to consider decreasing your activity level for at least 2 weeks, in some cases a 6 week halt is needed.
When you restart, you may need non weight bearing exercises like swimming or cycling.

The swelling and pain is not likely related to the lymphadenopathy or biopsy. I hope this helps
