Suggest Treatment For Swollen Ankles

Just back from a 5 hour trip from alaska--im 90--my ankles and feet quite swollen. I have a previous prescription for Dyazid (3.75) prescribed occasionally. Instructions say take 1 daily. Can I get better results if I take 2? I also take blood thinner, xarelto, and levothryroxidine

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Yes, you can take Dyazid (Hydrochlorothiazide-Triamterene).
Once edema disappears, go to your original dose.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. C.ELANCHEZHIAN, General & Family Physician
