Suggest Treatment For Swollen Arms Caused After Injury

My 82 yr old grandmom had demetia she is now not wanting to to get out of bed. Her brief leaks during nite n has a nasty rash up her back whats the best treatments. Since yesterday her arm has been swollen i dont see any fractures or bruises. I think she banged her arm on the hospital bed rail. Please help ty

nursing care is required. for injury and swelling take x-ray and exclude fracture. in the meantime splint can be used treating doctor are best to examine and advise.
