General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for your query.
Your symptoms and MRI are suggestive of either temporal arteritis or aneurysm.
The former is usually associated with auto immune disease (vasculitis) or Infection.
Treating is with anti inflammatory medications and steroids and antibiotics if indicated.
I would investigate for auto immune status and causes through a thorough history and relevant blood tests. Scans to rule out other organ involvement may be necessary

The latter is due to a defect in the vessel wall and surgery may be needed to repair it, depending on the size

I recommend seeing your physician to confirm the diagnosis and treatment accordingly,
Hope this helps.
Wish you good health
