Suggest Treatment For Swollen Baby Toe

my baby toe was knocked between a door jam . . . it swelled and then went black and blue. the black and blue and most of the swelling went away in a few days. total of about a week, however my baby toe is still swollen. it does not hurt to walk but is just a little sore. how do i correct the remanining swelling? thank you! elizabeth
