Suggest Treatment For Swollen Breasts And Shooting Pain Near Womb

Hello, My name is Destini and I ve been having some odd things happening to my body. Its not normal for me. My period was very light, almost like spotting, and it lasted 9 days instead of my normal 7 days. I ve been bloated for about 3 weeks and my breasts have been swollen. Everytime I bend over I have a sharp shooting pain in my lower abdomen. Right where my womb is, it only lasts a couple a seconds. The pain is in the middle of my lower abdomen. Please reply back as soon as possible. I m really worried. Thank you for taking your time to read this. Have a great day!

Hello,

The pain and the swollen breasts that you are having can be related to a hormonal disturbance. The decreased bleeding can be related to an ovarian cyst. You need to get an ultrasound scan done to rule out any pelvic pathology.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rakhi Tayal, OBGYN
