Suggest Treatment For Swollen Burning Eyes After Black Walnut Juice Splash

I was removing the outer shell from black walnuts ( without safety goggles) & some of the juice from the shell popped into my eye. This was about 36 hrs ago. I have used eye wash, eye lubricate & cold compresses. My eye is still swollen, red, burning & swollen. What else do I need to do? I thought it was better, but now I am not so sure.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
It seems from the history that you are having swollen and burning sore eyes following splash of walnut juice into the eye.
You have done all the treatments properly in the form of lubricants, eye wash and cold compress.
Since the symptoms are still persisting it requires eye examination by your ophthalmologist to rule out damage to cornea or other structures.
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for further examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
