Suggest Treatment For Swollen Eyelids Post Bug Bite

I got what I thought was a bug bite on my eye lid 3 days ago. My upper eye lid started to swell mildly after just a few min. I started putting ice on it. I have done this repeatedly over the last 3 days. The lid is pink and tender with a small pink dot in the middle. This is why I assumed it was a bug bite. Now it is day 3 and I came home after work and noticed the swelling was starting to travel from my eye to my cheek. It is swelling in a line. Looks kinda like the vain underneath is swollen. Should I be concerned? ?

Hi and welcome to HCM,
A bug bite can cause swelling of the lid and that swelling can travel to the cheek. Putting ice is a good thing to do. You can also try some oral anti inflammatory tablets like combiflam three times a day after food. Also get some eye drop and ointment with a antibiotic steroid combination.
Lastly there is no need to worry as the swelling will gradually subside.
