Suggest Treatment For Swollen Foot

I am a farmer and 2 weeks ago I was stepping off of a chair that twisted before my other foot touched the ground. It made a pop and it was slightly uncomfortable but I kept working. The next day it was fine but still tender. A few days later I was in a store and turned and it became very painful but after a few minutes it was as though nothing was wrong. Ten days have passed like this, then Sunday morning I got up and it had started hurting slightly and now Tuesday morning it feels unbearable at times. It feels swollen and almost as though there is some fluid build up. Should I go to a medical family doctor or who.
