The other night we were working outside n I felt like I kept getting bit on the leg n upper thigh area. Fast forward few days , swollen whelps almost like a pimple appears or was noticed . Fast forward like 5 days, extremely swollen and red area with like a pimple head area. It is extremely tender and sore to the lightest touch. What is it and should I be seen?..

Otherwise, you need some kind of antihistaminic ointment Also Apply an ice pack to a bite or sting for 15 to 20 minutes once an hour for the first 6 hours. Try a nonprescription medicine for the relief of itching, redness, and swelling such as Benadryl or Chlor-Trimeton. Hydrocortisone 1% cream or calamine lotion may also be helpful. it is important not to scratch or manipulate the wound to prevent infection. You may cover the wound with a thin layer of petroleum jelly, such as Vaseline, and a nonstick bandage. I hope I have answered you query.
