Suggest Treatment For Swollen Itchy And Red Eyes After An Eye Examination

Hi, had an eye exam on Tuesday and the doctor dilated my pupils and the next day my eyes were swollen, itchy and red. I went back in to the doctors office asking for help because my eyes were swollen, red and very itchy. I told him that I was having some sort of an allergic reaction to the dilation medicine and he insisted that I wasn t and it was just seasonal allergies or I touch something. I told him that I didn t have seasonal allergies but he insisted, told me to be careful with what I touch and rubbing my eyes and he prescribed me Lastacaft (Alcaftadine Ophthalmic) which I ve used for a few days now and they have not worked at all. I looked up what this drug was for and it is for relief of seasonal allergies which I don t have and told the doctor (he ignored me). Help, I don t know what s going on and how to get relief. I m a 47 year old woman. Any suggestions as to what is happening and how to get me doctor to prescribe me something to help?
