Suggest Treatment For Swollen Knuckles And Fingers After An Injury

I broke the ring finger on the right hand three and a half months ago. I have been left with swollen knuckles on the adjoining first and middle fingers. This area is very sore and although I am having hot wax treatment at the hospital and using stress balls there is little improvement. What can I do for myself?
