Suggest Treatment For Swollen Left Arm With Burning Sensation

The back of my left hand has flared up just recently. its dry and cracking specifically on my lowest pinky finger joint where it bleeds from time to time. It has been like this for at least a good month. There is a burning sensation and redding the area all throughout the back of my left hand; but most notably dry around the upper part of back hand around the lower pink finger joint, to fore finger joint . I don't recall ever having this problem before. I thought that maybe exposer to an acid or cleaning solution may have sparked my problem but my right hand isn't affected and being right handed I thought more likely I would have had problems on my right hand. What could be causing the problems on my left hand and is there something I can do to reduce or eliminate the problem. thankyou
