Suggest Treatment For Swollen Leg And Calf

Hi, may I answer your health queries righHi, I am in my fortis and was extremely fit and maintain a progremme 4 days a week. Yesterday in the mirror i noticed a swelling (at the side of the leg bewteen shin and calf) when I tense my calf muscle, there appears a lump about the size of a 50p, located between the calf and the shin. There is some very light blue capillary loacted near by.(difficult to see with all the hair)

I have no other such veins or varicose on my body.

Could this be a commencement of a varicose or maybe a muscle hernia?(due to activity) I have discomfort around the back of the legs but to be honest my whole body is full of aches and groans from intensive sport including a worn meniscus on the same side f the lump.
