Suggest Treatment For Swollen Legs.

i am 49 yrs/165cm/95kgs my bp is 165/110 i am diabetic and recently teste +ve for tsh Thyroid. my problem is that my legs have an oedema in my legs which when i lay horizontal in night it partially disapppears but for the whole day it stays.
i have been advised k bind/amlodipine thyroxine and insulin human mixtard 15u +15u.
how serious is my failing health
