Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lips While On Lisinopril
I take lisinopril. Periodically my lips have swollen. Yesterday, they started swelling again. It s the worst it s ever been. I took benadryl last night, but they are still really large. I thought it might be something I ate., but the only I ate yesterday was potatoes with onions and garlic, a bean burrito, and some pretzel sticks. Last time it happened I had previously eaten a mango (the day before). The first time I had eaten a piece of cheese.
Swollen lips may be caused by an allergic reaction to the antibiotic levaquin. You should stop the antibiotic immediately and drink plenty of fluids. Benadryl may be taken, 50 my every 6 hours. If you have any tongue / throat swelling or trouble breathing you should go to the emergency room as this could be an anaphylactic reaction. Best regards
