Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lips With Cracks And Peeling

I had a terrible case of herpes which then resulted in large yellow crusts on my lips, these fell off leaving my lips swollen ,cracking peeling, constantly. Even if out in cold briefly with scarf on, my skin then will peel off. I have been prescribed cortizone creams which burn and swell lips, aquaphor also swells lips, and I have tried coconut oil olive oil, vit e . This was preceded by a case of bronchitis . What to do

Hi. try a good lip balm like blistex lip balm and use it three to four times daily. If it does not help in say 2 weeks, you should seek help of a qualified dermatologist. There are many causes of cheilitis (dry, scaly, fissured lips) like actinic cheiltis which needs to be considered in "non responsive cases". hope it helps.
