Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Node And Itchy Rash All Over The Neck

I have no insurance so i cannot afford to get to a doctor right now... my symptoms have been an all over my head pressure headache. that lasted about two weeks. much of the pressure is gone, but now i have a swollen lymph node behind my right ear and some sort of itchy painful rash all over the right side of my neck as well as a patch on my left bicep. i was also diagnosed with raynauds over a year ago. any advice would be appreciated! thanks!

Hi,

Two weeks is a long time to have headache and other things as you have mentioned. First of all, get your blood pressure checked as elevated blood pressure can be a reason for headache. Rash on one side of neck with development of lymph node behind right ear indicate a possible infective cause of both for which you need to get blood tests and also get an opinion of a doctor as actual visual examination helps a lot in proper diagnosis.

Proper diagnosis alone helps for proper treatment. Consult a doctor directly to diagnose your rash. Headache also needs proper evaluation and investigations if required to get a proper diagnosis and management. Till then you can take Paracetamol and antihistamine for symptomatic relief.
