General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to tonsillitis. For that do saline or Betadine gargles twice a day. In case of fever you may require antibiotics after physician consultation. Take hygienic food and water. For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
