General Surgeon 's  Response
HI.
Thanks for an elucidate history.
This looks to be a granular pharyngitis causing you to feel something stuck in the throat.
The swelling in the neck can be due to the enlarged lymph nodes with edema of the surrounding tissues due to edema in the subcutaneous plane.
Tingling is the feeling that does on with these findings.
I would advise such a patient the following.
Throat swab for gram staining and culture sensitivity.
Blood- CBC, sugar, kidney functions .
Urine routine microscopy.
Start on a broad spectrum antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicines.
Warm saline gargles.
monitoring the vitals of pulse, BP and temperature.
You will get a proper relief soon once yo are on the right medicines.
