Suggest Treatment For Swollen Right Foot

In 2003, i had a complete break of my tibia and fibia. I had a rod and multiple pins put into my leg. i have been doing just fine. A year ago, i was put on aldactone. I now have an issue with a swollen right foot. No pain. I am not sure which doctor i should contact.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You should consult your GP.

The swelling may not be related to your previous injury, it may be completely unrelated.

Your doctor would be able to take a history, examine the area and then determine the best course of action.

Swelling of the lower limbs can be related to: (1)trauma
(2)venous disease
(3)side effect of medication
(4)heart, kidney or liver disease
(5)infection
(6)joint disease such as arthritis

I hope this helps
