Suggest Treatment For Swollen Scar After Hysterectomy

I had a hysterectomy approx. 3 years ago. On my last visit I asked the doctor why the one scare at the top of my belly was still swollen and she stated the robot had problems with that area and would go down. Needless to say that small swollen spot is now the size of a tangerine and not sure what to do or who to go see as our company has dropped our insurance and I have none so I really can not afford to go to several doctors

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think this can be an abdominal hernia on the operation site. Surgery may be the only solution to it. It should be done as soon as possible.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
