Suggest Treatment For Swollen Shin

Hi about a month ago a friend and I were loading our jet ski up after going riding. It weighs about 300lbs. I lost my balance on a sharp lip and the ski fell on to my shin. Its nice and swollen still but only where it impacted. Any need to go to a doctor? I can walk on it. Any touch to it though, burns.
