Suggest Treatment For Swollen Supraclavicular Gland
I have a swollen supraclavicular gland on the right side of my neck. When I went to my doctor she wanted me to come back in two weeks because I was sick at the time. I went back a month later because I was sick again. (I had a lot of stress at the time.) When I went back she wrote me a referral to a specialist for a biopsy. It kind of feels like it is pinching on something in my neck. It's really sore and it makes the front part of my shoulder kind of sore. Is there anything I can do to make it stop aching? I am too scared to go to the biopsy.
As per your complain it looks like you have swollen supraclavicular lymph nodes and it is most probably due to infection or tumor in the areas of the lungs, breasts, neck, or abdomen.
In case if it is painful and mobile it is most commonly due to infection..
A biopsy is advised to confirm the exact cause so that appropriate treatment can be done..
As of now you can take anti inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen to relieve pain.. You can also do cool compresses over the swelling for reducing inflammation and pain..
You should proceed for Biopsy soon so that the exact management can be done soon..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
