Suggest Treatment For Swollen Tonsils

I ve had swollen tonsils for about a month now, and my right tonsil is bigger than the other and they have white spots on them. I ve tried pretty much everything but nothing seems to work. I was wondering if there is a quick fix for this cause I ll be shipping out to bootcamp in a few months and I need them to heal.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
This is follicullar tonsillitis that is what you are seeing yellowish white spots on tonsils there crypts filled with pus...nothing to worry of one tonsil is bigger than the other...yes if inspite of taking antibiotics (tab amoxicillin with clavulinic acid 625 mg twice daily after food )5days and take tab paracetamol 500mg whenever needed for pain...you think still its present surgery has to be done... no harm in getting it removed...get well soon ...thanks and regards....
