Hi

For chemical irritation from creams or lotions, quickly remove the lotion with cool water and apply a cold washcloth.Apply a 1 percent hydrocortisone ointment which is a steroid ointment to calm the redness. Keep the area moist by regularly applying a moisturiser containing aloevera gel.Ice covered with a cloth can also be kept for a few seconds to reduce the discomfort.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
