Suggest Treatment For Swolling And Itchiness In Clitoris

hello im 27 yrs old. im having a swollen and very itchy clitoris. i noticed this 2 days ago after masterbating. i am not sexually active for the last 3mos. now. what shoud i do? its very uncomforting. what medicine or cream should i get? i just want it to go away pls.

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

I would keep a possibility of candidal vulvitis. Candidal infection of the vulvovaginal area can cause itching, redness and discharge.

If I was your treating doctor I would have advised you to use a topical OTC antifungal cream like clotrimazole twice daily for a week.

An oral antifungal 150mg single dose can also be taken for faster relief.

An OTC antihistamine , cetrizine once daily would help in symptomatic control of itching.
