Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Attention Deficit Disorder
my 20 year old granddaughter was diagnosed with ADD as a child. She is sweet, quiet and gets along well with her friends. She started community college, but failed, mostly because she didnt study or go to class. She sometimes dresses up as Halloween costumes and talks a lot and other times is scared and anxious. What do you think her problem is?
Common signs of ADHD in children are. Self-focused behavior (A common sign of ADHD is what looks like an inability to recognize other people's needs and desires) Interrupting. Trouble waiting for their turn. Emotional turmoil. Fidgetiness. Problems playing quietly. Unfinished tasks. Lack of focus Avoiding tasks and Day dreaming. You can establish structure and stick to them, keep her physically active, get some counseling, let her eat right-high fibers, raw fruits and vegetables, keep her well hydrated and give vitamin supplements.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
