Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Yeast Infection

Hi there, I really don't want to have to go to a doctor about this so I will ask it here in hopes of an answer. The skin around my bum is very itchy and red, as well my vagina is itchy, it feels like yeast-like symptoms (I am prone to yeast infections). Last weekend I went to visit my partner and had a very sexually active weekend, we had anal sex but were very clean and safe about it and sure not to have vaginal sex afterwards. It feels like maybe a yeast infection from all the activity, or that the skin around is just irritated so I took yeast infection pills today but am just hoping it shouldn't' be much to worry about right? Should I just give the pills some time to work? What creams would be best...Keep in mind I really don't want to go to the doctor unless completely necessary. Thanks for your time.
