Suggest Treatment For Syphilis
we have one case whose vdrl is postive later we get his tpha test done which is also positive.....pt was treated for syphilis 6 month beck ,as vdrl was positive that time, pt was admitted 6 mth beck fr spontaneous abortion.....can u answer my quary please

I can understand your problem
its not just the VDRL positivity tat matters but it should be raising titres tat matters.once infection has occured vdrl may be positive life long and tpha upto 2 years.So make sure titres should not raise, otherwise its absolutely normal.
