Suggest Treatment For Tachycardia, Chest Pain And Restrictive Lung Disease

My daughter, age 24, has acute asthma, tachycardia, low oxygen levels, chest pain, restrictive lung disease, and lactic acid levels last weekend were 3.8 but now closer to normal. If she is off oxygen her levels drop, even in 70s. If she moves her heart rate jumps from 100 to 160. What should we be asking her Dr? Is this as serious as it seems?

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello,

She is with respiratory failure. In my opinion, you should tell her doctor for this and he or she would ask an arterial blood gases test. After having the results it should be decided about home oxygen or not.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
