Suggest Treatment For Tailbone Pain

I am 12 years old and i have extreme tailbone pains. My tail bone hurts whenever i stand up, walk around, and sit down. I have been to the doctors and have gotten multiple x-rays but they show nothing. There is a big bump the feels kind of like a knot on my tailbone. What might this be? how is it treated? is surgery required?
