Suggest Treatment For Tear In Epiglottis

Hi Thanks! I have a tear in my epiglottis because of heavy heaving when I vomitted repeatedly three days ago. I swallowed a camera and the doctor detected the tear. He was worried that I might start bleeding due to the tear. Fortunately it did not happen. I was discharged from hospital without any instructions and given Altosec tablets and told to go back to the doctor in a months time. What can I do to prevent any further damage and to speed up healing.

Hi.
Your Doctor must have given you the best medicines.
Tear of the epiglottis is the rarest of the problems , never seen.
The diagnosis must be something else.
Well, take care to avoid too cold/ too hot foods and beverages.
Be on liquid diet.
The healing in this region is pretty fast , heals within days.
Please confirm the diagnosis ..
Or take a second opinion.
