Suggest Treatment For Tear Near Labia After Falling

I fell on the back end of a chair with my legs split. I split the skin on my labia quite deep and 4 inches long. I have been to the ER and they suggested not to stich due to the bruising and pain it would cause. I feel it is getting infected now. How will I know if I should go back to see a physician

Hi,
As stitches are not taken then there are all chances of getting wound infected creating a problem.
You require proper cleaning and dressing of wound by doctor only regularly.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course for 5 days.
If there is delayed healing there might be having irregular scar producing problem.
Maintain local hygiene proper.
Ok and take care.
